Being Led By God’s Spirit.

Welcome! Today, I want to write about how we can live out our purpose: being led by God’s Spirit.

Living out our purpose in life is a great privilege and opportunity from God. He gave us each a unique set of gifts and abilities that can help us to continue to do His will. In order to do this, we must look for His leading and guidance every day.

Understand that the Holy Spirit is here to guide us. He will guide us, and even convict us when we start to go the wrong way. God’s Spirit will never leave us nor forsake us. He is here with us always.

In order to live out our purpose, we must listen carefully to the voice of God’s Spirit. We need to be open to what he is saying in order to be guided in the right direction.

The best way to listen and be guided by God’s Spirit is through prayer and communion with Him. Take some time each day to be still and silent before the Lord. This could be a few minutes in the morning or an extended period of time in the evening after a busy day.

Another important reminder is that God’s Spirit will never lead you to do something that goes against His Word. His commands are for our protection and blessing. If something does not line up with Scripture, then it’s not coming from Him.

God has given each of us a special purpose and He wants us to live it out every day. Be open to hear His voice each day and follow it faithfully. When we follow His guidance, He will bless us with His peace. Thank you for taking the time to read today and may God bless you as you seek His will through His Spirit in all that you do.
