As Luke 19 draws to a close it does so with the triumphant entry of Christ into Jerusalem. The disciples were unaware of the events that were to unfold in the coming days, but Jesus Christ was certain of the events that were to take place.
He pressed forward into the city, willing to suffer for us all. We read of Christ entering into the city and receiving praise so much so that the Pharisees became angry and told him to rebuke the people.
However, God will always be praised by His creation, so Christ told them that even if they do not praise Him the rocks would. This statement was prophecy. In just a few days Christ would be crucified and would be mocked and His disciples will offer no praise, but the earth would quake, crying out and proclaiming His authority.
God a Bless
